Course #1: Setup Your Online Course for Videos
Faculty will have the opportunity to explore SUNY Canton’s new video captioning software, Panopto. Using the Library’s laptop cart, you will ready your course to use Panopto. At the end of this session participants will leave with their Blackboard courses linked to SUNY Canton’s new video software. |

Course #2: Make Videos for Your Students
Faculty will explore ways to make videos with SUNY Canton’s new video captioning software, Panopto. In this session, participants will create a video. Then in the second half of the workshop, participants will put their video online and share it with their students. Participants will exit the workshop with an online video for their students and an understanding of how to create future videos and share them with their students. |

Course #3: Create Student Video Assignments
Faculty will learn how to assign video assignments to their students with Panopto, SUNY Canton’s new video captioning software. In this interactive workshop faculty will first set up the student assignment in Blackboard. After that, participants will create a set of instructions for students to complete the assignment and attach already-created technical instructions to their Blackboard course. Faculty will leave the workshop with a video recording assignment ready for their students to complete. |

Course #4: Grade Video Assignments with Blackboard Rubrics
Faculty will learn how to create a rubric to grade student video assignments. Please bring a paper rubric for a video assignment that you will use in your course. During the workshop we will make a digital version of your paper rubric. We will then attach this digital rubric to an online assignment, and you will learn how to grade assignment quickly with the rubric. Faculty will exit the workshop with a digital rubric attached to a student assignment. |
